TIRANA, July 17 /ATA/ Albania is growing as a preferred destination for international investors.

Albanian Investment Development Agency (AIDA) said that, in the last 3 months, April-June 2025, the registration of foreign-owned businesses and Albanian-foreign partnerships has seen a significant increase.

Referring to statistics published by AIDA, for the period April-June 2025, there were registered 541 businesses with foreign ownership and 94 with joint Albanian and foreign ownership.

If compared with the same period last year, the number of registrations of foreign-owned businesses increased by 44% and those with joint ownership increased by 42%.

AIDA appreciates that the indicators are a strong sign of confidence in the Albanian market and an increase in interest from global investors, as it emphasizes that, "Albania is becoming a key point for business initiatives with a global vision." /j.p/p.s./
