Lisbon, July 2, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed higher on Wednesday, with the PSI index advancing 0.51% to 7,632.55 points, in line with the prevailing trend among the main European markets.
Of the 15 companies listed on the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), 10 rose, four fell and Sonae SGPS remained unchanged at €1.25.
Leading the gains was Mota-Engil, which rose 2.30% to €3.91.
Other notable gains were Semapa, which rose 2.15% to €17.14, EDP Renováveis, which rose 1.94% to €10, Navigator, which rose 1.66% to €3.30, Galp, which rose 1.43% to €15.98, and Corticeira Amorim, which grew 1.13% to €8.06.
With increases of less than 1% were EDP (€3.78), Altri (€5.03), Ibersol (€9.74) and BCP (€0.66).
In the other direction, NOS led the declines, falling 1.26% to €3.91.
With declines of less than 1% were CTT (€7.47), REN (€3.04) and Jerónimo Martins (€22.14).
In the rest of Europe, the main index in Paris rose 0.99%, Frankfurt 0.49% and Madrid 0.41%, while London's FTSE100 fell 0.12%.
