Lisbon, June 30, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed down on Monday, with the PSI index falling 0.89% to 7,456.27 points, with EDP Renováveis standing out, down 4.29%.
Among the 15 listed companies that make up the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), nine fell, four rose and Mota-Engil and REN were unchanged at €3.84 and €3.03 respectively.
Leading the declines was EDP Renováveis, down 4.29% to €9.48, on fears that Trump's spending programme will negatively impact renewables operators in the US.
Among the main losers were Corticeira Amorim, down 1.86% to €7,92, Altri, down 1.32% to €4.87, Semapa, down 1.30% to €16.70, and EDP, down 1.05% to €3.68.
Navigator (€3.19), Galp (€15.57), Jerónimo Martins (€21.48) and Sonae SGPS (€1.21) all fell by less than 1%.
In the opposite direction, leading the risers was Ibersol, which rose 1.89% to €9.68, followed by NOS, which increased 1.18% to €3.87.
With gains of less than 1% were BCP (€0.66) and CTT (€7.55).
In the rest of Europe, Frankfurt fell 0.51%, London 0.43% and Paris 0.33%, while Madrid rose 0.16%.
