TIRANA, June 28 /ATA/ During the first five months of 2025, net revenue in VAT collections amounted to 30.5 billion lek.
This figure represents a significant increase compared to the same period last year, marking a rise of 7.3 billion lek, or 31.5% higher.
The fiscal indicators report released by the Ministry of Finance highlights that this growth signifies a substantial enhancement in VAT revenue performance, both year-on-year and relative to the planned projections.
In fact, VAT revenues for the January-May period were 3.1 billion lek, or 11.5%, higher than the projected plan.
The Ministry of Finance further states that reimbursements during this period reached 6.8 billion lek, fully complying with the approved plan.
