TIRANA, May 15/ATA/ The implementation of the transformation project of Bënja Thermal Springs gets underway. The thermal baths, as they are known otherwise, are located 14 kilometers from the city of Përmet and are a tourist destination.

Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro wrote in the social media that “Bënja baths” is one of the most beautiful projects in Përmet.

“This project improves the infrastructure, appearance, increases the tourist offer, economic value and preserves their natural and historical importance”, emphasized Kumbaro.

The project is an investment of the Albanian government through the Albanian Development Fund for Përmet.

The Bënjë Thermal Springs in Përmet are considered the best in Europe.

The temperature of these waters is 26 ¬ 32°C.

This place, surrounded by wild nature, represents a unique mixture of history, adventure and nature. In addition to the thermal baths, there are also the Lengarica Canyon and the Katiu Bridge. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
