TIRANA, May 5 /ATA/ The Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, announced that from May 5 to October 31, 2025, all museums, archaeological parks, castles, and other cultural heritage sites across the country will be open to visitors every day of the week, from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

“Our goal is to offer a richer cultural experience for both local and foreign visitors by making our cultural assets more accessible during the tourist season,” stated Minister Gonxhja.
Some sites with unique features will operate on adjusted or customized schedules.

In Durrës, visitors can explore the Venetian Tower, the Amphitheater, and the Medieval Bath during two time slots: from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and again from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
The National Museum of Independence in Vlora will welcome visitors from May 5 to June 30 and again from September 11 to October 31, operating from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. During the peak summer season, from July 1 to September 10, the museum will follow a split schedule: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Butrint National Park will remain open every day from 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM.

This season is expected to attract more visitors, boosting the development of cultural tourism and promoting the country’s national heritage.
