Lisbon, April 14, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market started the week in the green, with the PSI index rising 0.95% to 6,582.73 points on Monday, on a day of recovery for the main European markets.
Among the 15 listed companies on the PSI national benchmark index, three closed the session down, REN remained unchanged at €2.76 and the others recorded gains.
Mota-Engil stood out by advancing 4.49% to €3.35, followed by BCP, which gained 3.24% to €0.54, and CTT, whose shares added 3.16% to €6.86.

EDP was also among the gainers, rising 0.65% to €3.08, but its subsidiary EDP Renováveis fell 1.07% to €7.38.
Also in negative territory were the shares of Navigator, which fell 0.43% to €3.23, and Semapa, which fell 0.49% to €15.40.
Across Europe, the day was positive, with the main stock markets registering rises of over 2%. The Frankfurt stock market rose 2.85 %, Madrid advanced 2.64 %, Paris gained 2.37 % and the London stock market rose 2.14 %.
The European stock markets are recovering from last week's falls, against a backdrop of advances and setbacks in the trade war started by the US.
This weekend, the United States announced that it was waiving tariffs on many technological products.
However, US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he will soon announce the true scope of the new tariffs on these products, something that analysts at Link Securities quoted by Efe believe could "completely change the behaviour of the stock markets immediately".
