Lisbon, March 20, 2025 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Thursday, with the PSI index falling 0.61% to 6,860.96 points, with BCP standing out with a drop of 4.71%.
Of the 15 listed companies that make up the PSI, eight fell, six rose and REN remained unchanged at €2.66.
Leading the declines was BCP, which lost 4.71% to €0.55.
It was followed by Jerónimo Martins, which fell 1.07% to €19.45.
With losses of less than 1% were NOS (€4.30), Semapa (€15.28), Corticeira Amorim (€8.06), CTT (€7.36), Mota-Engil (€3.39) and Ibersol (€8.86).
In the opposite direction, leading the rises was Galp, which rose 2.34% to €15.77.
Among the main risers were EDP, which rose 1.88% to €3.15, Sonae SGPS, which totalled 1.78% more to €1.03 and EDP Renováveis, which rose 1.58% to €8.36.
With gains of less than 1% were Navigator (€3.28) and Altri (€6.16).
Sonae made a profit of €223 million in 2024, down from €357 million the previous year, but 18% higher if you exclude the capital gain of €168 million from the sale of Iberian Sports Retail Group in 2023.
In the rest of Europe, Frankfurt fell 1.24%, Paris 0.95%, Madrid 0.76% and London 0.05%.
