Italian energy group Enel said Monday that it intends to invest around 43 million euros over the next three years as it presented its strategic plan for the 2025-2027 period.
It said about 26 billion euros of that money will go on grids, around 78% of which will be invested in Italy and Spain, and about 22% in Latin America.
It said approximately 12 billion euros will be invested in renewables, adding around 12 GW of capacity, with an improved technological mix that foresees over 70% of onshore wind and dispatchable technologies (hydro and batteries) and an overall capacity of about 76 GW and an increase of over 15% in production in 2027.
