TIRANA, November 17/ATA/ Minister of Defense Pirro Vengu positively assessed today the Albanian unit that successfully completed its mission in the "Urban Operations 24" international exercise which was held in Camp Novo Selo, Bulgaria.

"During this exercise at Camp Novo Selo, our forces demonstrated great operational skills in close cooperation with the NATO allies. Our servicemen showed high professionalism, as part of the Forward Land Force Battle Group Bulgaria", wrote Vengu.

Minister Vengu appreciated this achievement as evidence of continuous investments in Albanian military capacities. "This success is evidence of continuous investments in military capacities, aimed at the most successful missions, not only inside, but also beyond our borders. The high level of training of our personnel is the core of our commitment to peace and stability in the region and beyond," Vengu emphasized.

The "Urban Operations 24" exercise aimed to train forces for complex operations in urban environments, strengthening interaction and coordination between the NATO allies. /a,f/p.s./
