ZAGREB, 17. november (HINA) - Football club Zrinjski from Mostar offered for sale a retro jersey of the best Croatian player of all time, Luka Modrić, from the time when he played for the club.
As they stated on their Facebook page, along with a photo of Luka holding Zrinjski's jersey with the number 23, it can be purchased in the club's fan shop at an extremely affordable price of 23 euros for children and 28 euros for adults.
Modrić arrived at Zrinjski in 2003 on loan from Dinamo Zagreb, which was also his first senior season. During that period, he gained valuable experience that shaped his further development as a player. Modrić himself has repeatedly emphasized the importance of his time spent in Mostar, noting that the toughness and intensity of the BiH Premier League helped him adapt to the demands of senior football.
This summer, he visited the Zrinjski Stadium, the most successful football club in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and attended the premiere of a documentary about the club, which has a 119-year-old tradition.
Luka Modrić, who currently plays for Real Madrid and the Croatian national team, recently reached an important milestone – 550 games played for the "royal club".
