ALGIERS-The National Well Works Company (ENTP), a Sonatrach Group 100% subsidiary, received the “Best Quality Leadership Award” in the “Gold” category, awarded by the Swiss-based European Society for Quality Research (ESQR), a group press release said on Tuesday.  

The award was handed over to CEO of ENTP on 30 June, Abdelghafour Ghellab at a ceremony held at La Plaza Hotel Theater in Brussels, attended by Algeria's ambassador to Belgium, Mohamed Al Amine Bencherif, who supported the ENTP delegation throughout the event, according to the same source.

The award is dedicated to promoting the culture of quality and recognizing the best practices, excellence, leadership, technological innovation and achievements in terms of quality achievements of companies,” said the source.

The 2024 “Best Quality Leadership Award” was presented to 56 companies, organizations and institutions from 41 countries selected out of 144 countries throughout the world. “ENTP is the only Algerian company that won this award and the only company in the oil sector to have received this award in 2024.”

During the conference that preceded this ceremony, Ghellab delivered a speech “before a prestigious audience, in which he underlined the commitment of ENTP’s staff to quality.”

He praised the support of parent company Sonatrach for continuous improvement and the promotion of quality in all business segments", the same source said.
