Lisbon, Sept. 18, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed down 1.33% on Friday at 9,542.21 points, following the lead of the main European indices and reversing the trend of recent days, with almost all listed companies in the red.
Of the 16 companies that make up the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), 15 fell and only Mota-Engil rose, by 0.30%, to €5.02.
Leading the losses was NOS, which fell by 2.36% to €5.38, followed by BCP, down 2.24% to €1.18, Jerónimo Martins, which lost 2.21% to €17.66, and Sonae, which fell by 2.14%, to €2.06.
Falling by more than 1% were Ibersol (down 1.36% to €10.16), Teixeira Duarte (down 1.24% to €0.48) and CTT (down 1.01% to €6.36).
Also closing in negative territory were EDP (down 0.93% to €4.81), Corticeira Amorim (down 0.85% to €6.99), Navigator (down 0.79% to €3.25), Galp (down 0.73% to €21.89), EDP Renewables (down 0.70% to €12.70), Semapa (down 0.48% to €20.80), REN (down 0.28% to €3.56) and Altri (down 0.11% to €4.72).
The major European stock markets ended the week lower, with London down 1.5%, Paris 1.4% and Frankfurt, Madrid and Milan each down 1.6%.
