Lisbon, July 15, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed down 0.46% on Wednesday at 9,084.95 points, in line with the trend on the main European markets, with Teixeira Duarte falling by 2.07%.
Of the 16 listed companies that make up the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), 10 fell and six rose.
Teixeira Duarte was the biggest faller, closing at €0.47, followed by Galp, which fell again by 1.83% to €19.07, following the publication of its second-quarter operating figures this week.
Jerónimo Martins (down 1.34% to €16.44) and Sonae (down 1.18% to €2.09) also fell by more than 1%.
Also closing in negative territory were Ibersol (down 0.99% to €9.02), Semapa (down 0.74% to €20.05), Altri (down 0.64% to €4.66), REN (down 0.55% to €3.64), NOS (down 0.44% to €4.92) and BCP (down 0.24% to €1.05).
Leading the gains was EDP Renewables, which rose 0.50% to €14.05, followed by CTT, which rose 0.44% to €5.80.
Also in positive territory were Mota-Engil (up 0.40% to €4.52), EDP (up 0.37% to €4.58), Corticeira Amorim (up 0.16% to €6.39) and Navigator (up 0.06% to €3.12).
Most of the major European stock markets closed lower, with the exception of Paris, which rose by 0.19%.
London fell by 0.13%, Frankfurt by 0.59%, Madrid by 0.42% and Milan by 0.85%.
