NNA - The National Commission for Lebanese Women, represented by First Lady Neemat Aoun, on Wednesday signed a memorandum of cooperation with Lebanese American University, represented by its president Chaouki Abdallah.

The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation between the commission and the university’s Arab Institute for Women (AiW), focusing on gender equality, women’s empowerment, research, publications, data exchange, and joint awareness activities, conferences and workshops.

The two sides also agreed to cooperate on student training, with the commission providing internship opportunities for LAU students.
