TIRANA, June 30 /ATA/Tirana International Airport (TIA) has expanded its network of destinations with the addition of a direct route to Gothenburg, Sweden.

 In a statement, TIA said the flights will be operated by airline Norwegian, offering passengers a new travel option to the Swedish city for tourism, business or family visits.

 The addition of this route strengthens air connectivity between Albania and Sweden, while further expanding Tirana International Airport’s international destination network.

 The new service aims to facilitate passenger travel and create more opportunities for economic, tourism and cultural exchanges between the two countries.
