Lisbon, June 30, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed modestly lower on Tuesday, with the PSI index falling by 0.29% to 9,132.59 points, bucking the positive trend seen across the rest of Europe.
Of the 16 listed companies that make up the PSI, 12 fell, and four rose.
Jerónimo Martins led the red, falling 3.68% to €16.76.
Other major movers included Teixeira Duarte, which fell by 2.76% to €0.53; Semapa, which dropped by 2.64% to €20.30; NOS, which lost 2.32% to €5.05; Sonae SGPS, which fell by 1.95% to €2.02; Mota-Engil, which fell by 1.35% to 4.66 euros, REN, which fell by 1.31% to 3.78 euros, Navigator, which fell by 1.04% to 3.23 euros, and Ibersol, which fell by 1.01% to 9.85 euros.
Corticeira Amorim (€6.39), Altri (€4.75) and CTT (€5.78) all recorded rises of less than 1%.
At the other end of the scale, leading the gains was EDP Renováveis, which rose 2.90% to €14.17, followed by BCP, which rose 1.07% to €1.03.
Galp (€18.65) and EDP (€4.58) posted gains of less than 1%.
Elsewhere in Europe, Frankfurt rose by 1.50%, Madrid by 0.44%, Paris by 0.44% and London by 0.12%.
