Lisbon, June 9, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed modestly lower on Tuesday, falling 0.32% to 8,902.89 points, amid mixed trading across Europe, with Galp down 2.44%.
Of the 16 listed companies that make up the PSI index, nine rose, five fell, and Corticeira Amorim and REN closed unchanged at €6.51 and €3.47, respectively.
Galp led the fallers, closing at €18.99, followed by EDP Renováveis, which fell by 1.50% to €13.80.
Ibersol (down 1.17% to €10.12) and CTT (down 1.02% to €5.82) closed with falls of over 1%.
Also in the red were Teixeira Duarte (down 0.97% to €0.41), Semapa (down 0.65% to 23.05 euros), BCP (down 0.20% to 0.92 euros), Mota-Engil (down 0.18% to 4.48 euros) and EDP (down 0.11% to 4.42 euros).
On the other hand, Altri led the gains, rising 1.43% to €4.98, and Jerónimo Martins advanced 1.42% to €17.82.
Navigator (up 1.11% to €3.47), Sonae (up 0.32% to €1.90) and NOS (up 0.28% to €4.99) also closed in positive territory.
The main European markets closed mixed today, with London, Frankfurt, and Madrid falling by 1.41%, 0.74%, and 0.27%, respectively. Paris rose by 0.05% and Milan by 0.11%.
