NNA - Agriculture Minister, Nizar Hani, on Thursday continued his Italy visit, participating in the Macfrut exhibition in Rimini, where Lebanon and Italy signed an agricultural memorandum of understanding following prior talks with Italian Minister Francesco Lollobrigida.

Hani said the war damaged 22.5% of Lebanon’s agriculture، impacting production and food security.

The MoU focuses on product quality, export standards, rural development, fisheries and technical cooperation.

Both sides stressed the agreement as a key step to support recovery, enhance sustainability and strengthen competitiveness of Lebanese agricultural products.
