Lisbon, April 21, 2026 (Lusa)- The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Tuesday, down 0.45% to 9,136.34 points, following the European trend, with Ibersol falling by more than 3%.
Of the 16 companies in the PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), 10 fell, 4 rose, and Altri and Navigator remained unchanged at €4.86 and €3.38, respectively.
Ibersol was the biggest faller on Tuesday, dropping 3.07% to €12, followed by Jerónimo Martins, which fell 2.46% to €20.62.
Falling by more than 1% were BCP (down 1.19% to €0.88) and REN (down 1.07% to €3.71).
CTT fell 0.77% to €6.46, Teixeira Duarte lost 0.58% to €0.43, EDP fell 0.43% to €4.41, and Corticeira Amorim dropped 0.30% to €6.58.
NOS saw a more modest decline, falling 0.27% to €5.57, while Sonae fell 0.10% to €1.96. Leading the gains were Galp, which rose 1.19% to €19.13, followed by Semapa, up 0.67% to €22.60, EDP Renováveis, which rose 0.60% to €13.41, and Mota-Engil, which rose 0.45% to €4.90.
The main European markets closed lower on Tuesday, with London and Paris recording the biggest falls, of 1.05% and 1.14% respectively.
Frankfurt (0.60%), Madrid (0.65%) and Milan (0.63%) also fell.
