Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Lisbon stock market closes lower, in line with other bourses

Lisbon, April 15, 2026 (Lusa) – The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Wednesday, falling 0.18% to 9,345.36 points. The result followed the trend of major European markets, with Teixeira Duarte retreating by more than 2% and Ibersol rising by more than 3%.

Of the 16 listed companies in the PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), 11 fell, four rose, and one remained unchanged during Wednesday's session.

Teixeira Duarte led the losses, retreating 2.05% to €0.43, followed by CTT, which fell 1.26% to €6.64, and Galp, down 0.85% to €19.32. Other companies closing in negative territory included Mota-Engil (0.62% to €4.81), Corticeira Amorim (0.60% to €6.61), EDP Renováveis (0.49% to €14.10), Sonae (0.40% to €1.99), Jerónimo Martins (0.38% to €21.06), Navigator (0.36% to €3.36), REN (0.13% to €3.80), and NOS (0.09% to €5.49).

Ibersol led the gains, gaining 3.54% to €11.70. EDP recorded a rise of 0.56% to €4.67, BCP climbed 0.42% to €0.90, and Altri rose 0.31% to €4.86.

Semapa remained unchanged at €22.30.

Major European markets closed mostly lower, except for Frankfurt, which climbed slightly by 0.09%. London fell 0.47%, Paris 0.64%, Madrid 0.55%, and Milan 0.04%.
