Lisbon, April 10, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Friday, with the PSI (Portuguese Stock Index) falling 0.28% to 9,458.20 points, amid a mixed European market.
Of the 16 listed companies included in the benchmark PSI, 10 fell and six rose.
Leading the falls was Galp, which dropped 3.16% to €19.32.
Among the main fallers were also Teixeira Duarte, which fell 2.81% to €0.45, and Mota-Engil, which dropped 1.41% to €4.95. Stocks falling by less than 1% included BCP (€0.90), Navigator (€3.40), NOS (€5.57), CTT (€6.76), EDP (€4.74), Altri (€4.90) and Jerónimo Martins (€20.84).
In the opposite direction, leading the gains was EDP Renováveis, which rose 1.69% to €14.46, followed by Sonae SGPS, which rose 1.23% to €2.05. Corticeira Amorim (€6.71), Ibersol (€11.34), REN (€3.92) and Semapa (€22.70) posted gains of less than 1%.
Elsewhere in Europe, London fell by 0.03% and Frankfurt by 0.01%, while Madrid rose by 0.55% and Paris by 0.17%.
