TIRANA, April 6  /ATA/ Austria ranked as the fifth most important investor in Albania during 2025, based on the value of new investment inflows. According to data from the Bank of Albania, Austrian investments reached €146 million, marking a 22.7% increase compared to 2024. 

Austrian investments in Albania are concentrated mainly in key sectors of the economy such as insurance, energy, and hospitality services. This reflects the growing interest of Austrian businesses in areas with strong development potential, where foreign capital can play a transformative role. 

At the end of 2025, the stock of Austrian investments in Albania reached €926 million, according to the Bank of Albania. This represents a 6% increase compared to the previous year, confirming the stable and long-term presence of Austrian capital in the country.
