NNA - Lebanon's Consul General in Montreal, Charbel Nemer, met with a delegation from the Lebanese Red Cross – Montreal and the Canadian Red Cross.

Discussions touched on the existing cooperation between both organizations to support the Lebanese Red Cross and secure the necessary aid to enable it to continue its humanitarian and national missions, especially amidst increasing burdens and needs.

Talks also focused on ways to enhance cooperation between the Lebanese Consulate General and the Red Cross in Montreal to meet the needs of the Lebanese Red Cross.

Nemer commended their significant efforts, undertaken without any compensation, to maintain the vital and noble role this humanitarian institution plays in Lebanon, expressing readiness to dedicate his resources to provide support to the Lebanese Red Cross.
