Lisbon, March 27, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Friday, with the PSI index falling by 1.28% to 8,882.11 points, following the trend seen across the rest of Europe.
Of the 16 listed companies that make up the benchmark PSI (Portuguese Stock Index), 10 fell, four rose, and Ibersol and Navigator remained unchanged at €10.80 and €3.30 respectively.
Leading the declines was Jerónimo Martins, which fell 3.35% to €20.20.
Also notable were EDP Renováveis, which fell 2.53% to €13.09, Teixeira Duarte, which dropped 2.17% to €0.41, Galp, which fell 2.06% to €20.47, EDP, which fell 1.43% to €4.35, CTT, which dropped 1.19% to €5.83, and BCP, which lost 1.08% to €0.81.
Semapa (€21.55), Sonae SGPS (€1.86) and Altri (€4.74) all fell by less than 1%.
Conversely, leading the gains was Mota-Engil, which rose 0.70% to €4.31.
REN (€3.68), NOS (€5.36) and Corticeira Amorim (€6.43) also posted gains of less than 1%.
Elsewhere in Europe, Frankfurt fell by 1.38%, Madrid by 0.95%, Paris by 0.87% and London by 0.05%.
