ALGIERS - Algeria will take part in the international fruit and vegetable trade show (MACFRUT 2026), which will be held in the Italian city of Rimini on April 21-23, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion said Tuesday in a statement.

The statement noted that MACFRUT 2026 is a global commercial event specializing in systems, technologies and services related to the production, development, marketing and transportation of fruits and vegetables. It brings together professionals, companies, and buyers from around the world every year.

This international event is a leading business-to-business event (B2B), covering all aspects of the value chain, including production, seeds, nurseries, fertilizers, biological solutions, agricultural machinery, processing, packaging, as well as logistics and distribution services, according to the ministry.

The ministry invited all economic operators interested in participating to register via the dedicated website: https://www.mcepe.gov.dz/index.php/ar/macfrut-2026.
