Ancona will be the Italian Capital of Culture in 2028, Culture Minister Alessandro Giuli announced on Wednesday.
    The Marche port city will get one million euros to stage events and initiatives as the nation's culture capital.
    L'Aquila is this year's culture capital and Pordenone will take the honour next year.
