Lisbon, Feb. 20, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Friday, with the PSI index falling 0.05% to 9,090.54 points, penalised by Galp and bucking the trend in the rest of Europe.
The benchmark PSI (Portuguese Share Index) includes 16 companies, and nine of them rose and seven of them fell.
Leading the declines was Galp, which fell 2.46% to €18.24.
Also noteworthy were Corticeira Amorim, which fell 1.57% to €6.91, and NOS, which lost 1.54% to €4.80.
Ibersol (€11.20), Navigator (€3.35), Teixeira Duarte (€0.52) and EDP Renováveis (€13.14) fell by less than 1%.
In the opposite direction, Semapa led the gains, rising 3.85% to €24.30.
Gains of less than 1% were seen in BCP (€0.91), Jerónimo Martins (€21.22), CTT (€7.21), Mota-Engil (€5.08), EDP (€4.30), Altri (€4.78), Sonae SGPS (€1.95) and REN (€3.74).
Elsewhere in Europe, the main indexes in Paris rose 1.39%, Madrid 0.94%, Frankfurt 0.87% and London 0.56%.
