TIRANA, February 13 /ATA/ Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Elisa Spiropali was a guest of honor at the Vienna Opera Ball, at the special invitation of the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Austria Beate Meinl-Reisinger.

According to Minister Spiropali, Vienna Opera Ball was held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Austria, Dr. Alexander Van der Bellen.

Spiropali highlighted the invitation as a reflection of how Albania is increasingly regarded on the global stage.

“Albania’s honorary invitation to this 18th-century tradition highlights the deep trust and respect Austria holds for us, cementing our place as a natural partner and ally.

The honorary invitation on behalf of Albania to this traditional event dating back to the 18th century, a powerful instrument of cultural diplomacy, is an indication of the respect, trust and appreciation with which Austrian friends see and treat Albania as a natural part of their friendships and alliances,” Spiropali wrote in the social media.

The Vienna Opera Ball is truly the 'ball of balls' for the upper crust of society.
