UniCredit said Monday that it made a record net profit of 10.6 billion euros in 2025, up by 14% on the previous year, despite having absorbed 1.4 billion in extraordinary charges.
The Italian bank said it was aiming to distribute around 30 billion euros to shareholders over the next three years and 50 billion in the next five years.
UniCredit's share price on the Milan stock exchange rose by over 4% in early trading on Monday after the better-than-expected results were announced.
