Lisbon, Feb. 5, 2026 (Lusa) - The Lisbon stock market closed lower on Thursday, with the PSI index falling 1.16% to 8,779.01 points, following a negative trend across Europe.
Of the 16 companies listed on the PSI, 11 fell, and five rose.
Leading the declines was BCP, which fell 3.65% to €0.90.
Other major declines included Jerónimo Martins, which fell 2.31% to €20.30, and NOS, which fell 1.19% to €4.55.
With declines of less than 1% were EDP Renováveis (€13), EDP (€4.28), Mota-Engil (€4.63), REN (€3.51), Semapa (€22.35), Navigator (€3.26), Altri (€4.49) and Sonae SGPS (€1.84).
On the other hand, CTT led the gains, rising 1.84% to €7.21.
With gains of less than 1% were Ibersol (€10.7), Corticeira Amorim (€6.86), Teixeira Duarte (€0.49) and Galp (€17.01).
Elsewhere in Europe, Madrid fell 1.97%, London 0.90%, Frankfurt 0.46% and Paris 0.29%.
