APS - Algerian-Italian artistic caravan "Poets of Two Shores" stops in Sidi Bel-Abbes

SIDI BEL-ABBES -The Algerian-Italian literary and artistic caravan "Poets of the Two Shores" stopped on Saturday, in the city of Sidi Bel Abbes, at the main public reading library "Mohamed El Kabbati," as part of strengthening cultural exchanges and civilizational dialogue between Algeria and Italy.

The library hosted a varied program for this cultural event, organized by the Algerian Agency for Cultural Influence in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Algiers.

The program included joint poetic readings bringing together poets from both countries, as well as intellectual contributions and artistic musical performances from Algerian and Italian heritage, reflecting the richness of the common cultural heritage between the two shores of the Mediterranean Sea, as indicated by a representative of the Agency, Noureddine Addad.

The same source added that this meeting "helps establish the culture of reading and intellectual exchange, and strengthens the influence of cultural institutions, as well as their openness to their national and international environment," emphasizing the importance of such initiatives for the promotion of Algerian creativity.

For her part, the director of the main public reading library "Mohamed El Kabbati," Warda Hakimi, affirmed that hosting this cultural event "mirrors the central role that the library plays in promoting cultural action and opening up to international literary experiences," adding that "the Poets of the Two Shores caravan constitutes a true space for cultural dialogue and an opportunity to bring the public, especially young people, closer to poetry, arts and languages."
