TIRANA, Jan 15 /ATA/ - Slovenian investment in Albania has shown steady growth in recent years, reaching record levels, Economy and Innovation Minister Delina Ibrahimaj said on Thursday, citing official data.
In 2024, the stock of Slovenian investment rose to a record 44 million euros, marking a 7.3% increase from 2023, Ibrahimaj said.
The latest figures show that by September 2025, the investment stock had climbed further to 48 million euros, while investment inflows for the January-September 2025 period totalled 4 million euros.
“This upward trend reflects the confidence of Slovenian investors and highlights the potential for developing new business partnerships with Albania,” Ibrahimaj said.
As part of efforts to strengthen economic cooperation, Albania’s Investment Development Agency (AIDA) will host the Albania–Slovenia Business Forum on Feb. 5, 2026, at the Tirana Innovation Hub, she added.
The forum will bring together companies and institutions from both countries in sectors including construction, information and communication technology (ICT), agri-food, agricultural innovation and tourism.
Participants will have opportunities to expand professional networks, identify strategic partners and establish international cooperation, Ibrahimaj said, calling the forum “an excellent opportunity to deepen economic ties between Albania and Slovenia.
