APS - Diversity, quality of Algerian products destined for export highlighted

ORAN -The Minister of Foreign Trade and Exports Promotion, Kamel Rezig, underlined on Tuesday, in Oran, that Algerian products destined for export are witnessing considerable diversity and high quality, reflecting the results of reforms undertaken since 2020, in implementation of the program of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

Speaking to the press on the sidelines of the opening of the first National Exhibition of Exported Algerian Products, whose activities began today at the Convention Center in Oran, the minister noted that this event represents "just a glimpse" of the capabilities of national institutions and economic operators in the field of export.

He underlined that the exhibited products span multiple sectors and are exported to four continents: Africa, Asia, the Americas and Europe, pointing out that this diversity reflects the advances made in Algeria’s industrial, agricultural, and service sectors, as well as the energy sector.

The Minister also emphasized that the number of exporters continues to grow year after year, expressing hope that the exhibition will expand further in the years ahead.

He also underscored the participation of banks and logistics companies in the exhibition, aimed at creating new momentum to boost national exports.

He reaffirmed his ministry’s commitment to working with other government sectors to expand export markets, expressing hope that 2026 will be a banner year for exports through the organization of specialized trade shows and exhibitions showcasing Algeria’s economic capabilities.
