APS - Algeria Exhibitions to hold 60 business events at Algiers Exhibition Center in 2026

ALGIERS - The "Algeria Exhibitions" Company plans to hold 60 national and international business events at the Algiers Exhibition Center in 2026, the company announced in a statement on Monday.

The Algeria Exhibitions Company, a subsidiary of the Algerian Fairs and Exportation Company (SAFEX), stated that "the 2026 program is varied and comprehensive, as it covers several key sectors of the national economy, including industry, building and public works, energy, agriculture, agrifood, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, transport, tourism, environment, and services."

The events will be held at the Center’s pavilions, including the Palestine, Casbah, Etihad, Essaoura, Gourara, and Ahaggar pavilions, as well as the Central Pavilion.

"The Exhibition Center’s pavilions house stands that meet exhibitors’ technical and logistical requirements, in line with the professional standards of international exhibitions and fairs," said the source.

The events planned for 2026 include the 57th edition of the Algiers International Fair from June 22 to 27, the International Building, Public Works and Construction Materials Exhibition (Batimatec) from May 3 to 7, the Professional Agri-Food Exhibition (Djazagro) from April 12 to 15, and the International Exhibition of Agriculture, Livestock and Agro-Industry (Sipsa-Filaha) from May 18 to 21.

The schedule also features the 29th Algiers International Book Fair (SILA) from October 28 to November 7, the International Tourism and Travel Fair (SITEV) from June 11 to 14, as well as the Algeria Production Fair (FPA) and the Banking, Insurance and Financial Products Fair (Expo Finances), both scheduled between December 17 and 26.

Other events attracting growing interest are also on the agenda, including "Ramadan at the Center" from February 12 to March 14, and the Back-to-School Fair (Lemsid) from September 17 to 27.

Through this rich and varied program, "Algeria Exhibitions reaffirms its commitment to actively contributing to economic growth by boosting trade, supporting economic operators, and promoting Algeria's image as a regional destination for economic events, while providing meeting spaces that allow different players to share their expertise and forge partnerships," the statement concluded.
