Raffaele Palladino looks set to take over as Atalanta coach after the Bergamo side sacked Ivan Juric on Monday following Sunday's 3-0 home defeat to Sassuolo, their second consecutive loss.
Former Monza and Fiorentina boss was at the club's training facility on Tuesday for talks with Antonio and Luca Percassi, the chairman and CEO respectively.
Atalanta, who are usually in the higher positions in the Serie A table, are currently 13th with 13 points from 11 matches.
