TIRANA, October 18/ATA/ Albania is hosting the 2025 European Snooker Championship in Durrës, under the auspices of the European Billiard & Snooker Association (EBSA) and with the support of the Albanian Billiard and Snooker Federation.

Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sports Blendi Gonxhja wrote in a post in the social media that over 400 athletes from 38 European countries are participating in this championship.

The athletes will compete for two consecutive weeks in the 6 Red, Disability, Women and Men Teams disciplines.

“This championship marks another important moment for the promotion of Albania as a European sports destination and for strengthening the role of our country in organizing international level activities”, emphasized Gonxhja.

The championship will close tomorrow, October 19, bringing excitement, sporting rivalry and a golden opportunity for Albania to stand out as one of the new important centers of snooker in the continent. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
