KAMAPLA, 15 October 2025 (APS) – Assigned by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, participated on Wednesday, in Kampala (Uganda), in the opening ceremony of the 19th Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement.

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, the current NAM Chair, presided over the opening ceremony.

Held under the theme "Deepening Cooperation for Shared Global Prosperity," the two-day meeting will review progress on implementing the outcomes of the NAM Summit held in Kampala in January 2024, and explore ways to strengthen NAM's influential role in addressing the world's growing challenges, in line with the priorities and interests of the South countries.
