Ferrari on Thursday unveiled the first details on its new all-electric sports car.
It will be the first fully battery-powered car in the Prancing Horse's history, and some of its features were revealed during the Capital Markets Day in Maranello.
It will have four doors and four seats, an engine producing over 1,000 horsepower, a claimed range of over 530 kilometers, and a top speed of 310 kilometers per hour.
The model, long-anticipated, marks a key step in Ferrari's technology-neutrality strategy.
"This is a historic date," said Benedetto Vigna, Ferrari CEO.
"It will be an addition to the model range.
An opportunity to expand our customer base." In other news, Ferrari upped its financial targets for 2025 and said it was aiming for nine million euros in revenues in 2030 with its sports cars.
But the Milan bourse didn't react well to the news with Ferrari stock plunging 11.4% in Milan, dragging the FTSE MIB down over 1%.
