TIRANA, October 8/ATA/ The characteristic bazaar of Kruja, the National Museum “Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg” and the Ethnographic Museum are still full of tourists these autumn days.
Director of the Historical and Ethnographic Museum of Kruja Mehdi Hafizi told ATA today that even though it is October, the number of visitors remains high in both museums. There were 6 thousand visitors in the first week of October.
“During January-September, there were 172,067 visitors to the museum center, where specifically over 147,000 visited the “Gjergj Kastrioti” Museum and around 25,000 the Ethnographic Museum”, he added.
According to Hafizi, September has been the month with the highest number of visitors, so far.
“32,200 visitors visited the “Gjergj Kastrioti” Museum and around 25,000 the Ethnographic Museum”, emphasized Hafizi.
According to him, the highest number of visitors was French, Italian, German, Spanish, American, Chinese, Polish, Bulgarian, Hungarian, etc.
The high interest in Albanian history and culture has transformed Kruja into one of the most important cultural tourism destinations in the country. /p.s./
