Istat said Friday that its calendar-adjusted index of production in the construction sector was up by 5.2% in July with respect to the same month in 2024 for a seventh consecutive year-on-year rise that took the index to its highest level since July 2008.
    The national statistics agency said construction output increased by 0.7% in July compared to June, according to seasonally adjusted data.
