NNA – The International Labour Organization (ILO) will release a landmark report on how digitalization and artificial intelligence (AI) are reshaping labour markets across the Arab States. The report examines the challenges and opportunities that technological change brings to the region and outlines the policies needed to ensure a just and inclusive transition to the digital economy.

The publication, Navigating the digital and artificial intelligence revolution in Arab labour markets: Trends, challenges and opportunities, provides new evidence on the potential effects of digitalization and AI on employment and economic growth in the Arab States. It also offers concrete policy recommendations for governments, employers and workers' organizations to harness the benefits of technology while protecting vulnerable groups.

The English-language report will be launched on Monday 22 September at 09:00 GMT, accompanied by executive summaries in English and Arabic and a press release. -- ILO news
