The Italian cabinet on Thursday approved a reform of he foreign ministry to launch a new format with political and economic leadership organs.
    "The Council of Ministers has just definitively approved the reform of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani announced at a press conference following the cabinet meeting.

"Given what is happening worldwide regarding international trade, and given that the latter represents more than 30% of GDP and the government's strategy to strengthen the presence of our exports worldwide, reaching up to 700 billion euros by 2027, the ministry needed to be reorganized.
    "Therefore, we have decided to change it, and it will be a two-headed ministry, with a political and an economic leadership."
