ALGIERS — The 25th European Music Festival came to a close on Tuesday in Algiers with a Spanish-Swedish concert that captivated the Algerian audience with its mesmerizing melodies.

The evening’s first half at the Algerian National Theater (TNA) “Mahieddine-Bachtarzi” featured the Spanish group “Jesus Corbacho,” a four-member ensemble who performed a diverse selection of flamenco songs complete with traditional dance.

The second half showcased the Swedish group “Among Lynx,” featuring the duo Eva-Mi Ringqvist and Elin Oberg, who delivered a set of high-energy blues and rock numbers.

The 25th European Music Festival in Algiers (June 26-July 1) featured 11 groups and artists representing 10 European countries.
