TIRANA, June 14/ATA/ Korça hosted the first night of the 7th edition of the “Spirit of the Balkans” festival, in a parade of colors and musical tastes.

Groups from Kosovo, Bulgaria, France, Montenegro, Greece, North Macedonia and Albania held a celebration of emotions to the city of Korça, following the rhythms of folk and jazz music.

Mayor of Korça Sotiraq Filo praised the parade organized in the streets of the city, which, according to him, “turned into a mosaic of languages, costumes and identities which was enthusiastically received by citizens and visitors . It was a living testimony of the Balkan spirit that unites across borders”.

In the evening, the sounds of folk and jazz permeated the Old Bazaar, bringing an extraordinary atmosphere.

“Under the stage lights, with the audience singing, dancing and celebrating, Korça lit up with the energy of a night that is not easily forgotten. It was another night that proves why Korça is the capital of spirit, culture and hospitality”, said Filo.
