Bollywood should comes to shoot its films in Italy, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani told a plenary session of the Italy-India Forum in Brescia Thursday.
    Spying Sandokan TV icon Kabir Bedi in the audience, Tajani voiced the hope that the veteran Indian-Italian actor would act as an "ambassador" between the two countries' film industries.
    "In India," the deputy prime minister added, "they love Italian cinema and Italian landscapes" that can be used in Indian cinematography.
    "I invite the world of Indian cinema to explore our locations," he said.
    Similar words were expressed by Indian Minister of Industry and Commerce Piyush Goyal.
    "I have always seen myself as an unofficial Italian ambassador in India and an Indian in Italy," the actor who became famous in the 1970s playing Sandokan later told reporters, "because both countries are close to my heart." "Italy has been important for my international career and therefore - he added.
