NNA - The first Emirates Airlines flight on Wednesday touched down at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut following the United Arab Emirates’ decision to lift its travel ban on Lebanon, effective today.
Our National News Agency correspondent said that the airport’s arrivals hall was adorned with flowers to welcome the aircraft and its passengers, marking a symbolic moment in the restoration of Gulf tourism to Lebanon.
Several Emirati passengers expressed their joy at returning to Lebanon, particularly in light of recent political developments, including the election of a new president. They noted that the number of travelers arriving from the UAE is expected to rise in the coming days, praising the warmth and hospitality they received upon arrival.
