ALGIERS- The Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI) has organized a series of meetings in Spain with a view to promoting investment opportunities in Algeria, while highlighting the improvement of business climate thanks to the reforms set up in the past few years, said the agency in a Communiqué.

"During a visit to Spain from February 25 to 28, a delegation from the AAPI (Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion), led by its Director General, Omar Rekkache, held several meetings with Spanish economic operators.

These meetings were part of the ongoing implementation of the foreign investment promotion project launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, in collaboration with the European Union, titled "Partnership for Sustainable Investment."

In this regard, Rekkache and his delegation led a meeting in Valencia with the presidents of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Valencia, Castellon, and Alicante.

During the meeting, he presented the reforms Algeria has undertaken to improve its business climate and highlighted the investment opportunities available in various economic sectors.
