Sale - February 14, 2025 - (MAP) - The AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE) of DXC CDG was inaugurated on Thursday in Sale, a strategic innovation hub aligning with Morocco's ambition establish itself as a key player in artificial intelligence.
As part of the national "Morocco Digital 2030" strategy, the AI CoE aims to develop and deploy managed, secure, and high-performance AI solutions that promote trust, resilience, and sovereignty.
Through this center, DXC CDG offers a fully integrated end-to-end AI solution, combining technological robustness, data security, and cybersecurity best practices. These elements ensure resilience and sovereignty, driven by trustworthy AI.
Speaking on this occasion, the Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment, and Skills, Younes Sekkouri, stated that centers of excellence, such as the DXC CDG AI CoE, play a key role in providing service platforms and upgrading local stakeholders.
These initiatives must be part of a broader vision that engages with society to create the conditions for a dynamic and inclusive ecosystem, he added, emphasizing that Morocco must invest further in training and skills development to better equip itself for the challenges of AI.
For her part, the Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, highlighted the economic significance of AI, which now accounts for 15% of global GDP and represents a major financial and economic challenge with far-reaching impacts on employment, society, health, and agriculture.
DXC CDG unveiled the latest generation of its "Cyber Defense Command Center," a system that integrates AI to protect critical systems from cyber threats while ensuring the secure and intelligent management of strategic and sensitive infrastructures.
