An Italian doctor has saved his cat's life after performing a CAT scan on it at the hospital where he is chief of radiology.
    Gianluca Fanelli's feline friend Athena was "fighting for her life" after falling from a sixth-floor condo window in Aosta and he didn't think twice about administering the scan so life-saving surgery could be performed, local media reported Tuesday.
    Fanelli, who is now the subject of an administrative probe by the local health agency, has promised to pay the cost of the scan.
